2006 Australian Fly Casting Championships

Published by Swaddo at 4:11 pm under Work is for mugs

The Northern Suburbs Fly Fishing Club will be hosting the 56th National Fly Casting and Plug Accuracy Championships at Yarrambat Park, Melbourne, from April 21 to 23, 2006.

The NSFFC will be making food and refreshments available, as well as hosing the traditional Championships Dinner for competitors and volunteers on the Saturday evening. The raffle will also be worth a look, with prizes including a G-Loomis rod, Spotters sports pack, and a Waterworks reel up for grabs.

For more details please check out the Northern Suburbs Fly Fishing Club web site.

Note: The championships page is here but it appears it is still a work in progress. Check back as I’m sure it will be updated as soon as the folks have time.

This was the best organised and run Championships even if I do say so myself.  A credit to the NSFFC.
